Generally thinking this is a very controversial topic because how your brain works determine how you think, feel and act, and both sides of your brain give you unlimited potential for work. Some people think that imagination, creativity, or logic comes from natural talent, which indeed rules the brain and gives it infinite possibilities for brain lateralisation.
About the Video
This video shows the tendency of the left and right brain in life to be in harmony and balance.
Learning Styles
Everyone is an individual, and different people have different learning styles in the process of learning multimedia, although there is little scientific evidence to support this concept. However, in view of people’s learning ability, different ways of thinking may be better for listening, speaking, reading, and writing, except for positive cultivation in the future. Some students may be good at some learning styles and become dependent on them, which may also be important for their choice of interests, depriving them of opportunities for other learning styles. For the process of multimedia learning, it will face new challenges to the dominance of the brain. In conclusion, to identify whether neuroscience affects the conflict between different learning styles, we should focus on untried challenges that will take a lot of time to detect.
Left Brain vs. Right Brain
The two parts of the brain identify different personalities and ways of thinking, but there is no “hemispheric dominance” between the two sides of the brain. For example, in the process of learning through multimedia, the right brain can get pictures and images to stimulate the left brain, so as to solve the basic problems of the activation of the left and right brains in a more intuitive way so that the brain can participate in a balanced way.

Hi Gavin,
I am interested in this topic, too. I agree with you that people do not study in the exact same way. They have their style of learning. As technology develops, I believe learning on multimedia will trending in the future. Most people will figure out the most suitable method of learning on the internet. I think I am a right-brained person. Comparing with reading articles, I prefer learning with direct pictures and diagrams. Thus, Youtube helped me a lot when I was in high school. For personality, I think the environment and family having a larger impact on that. Therefore, I look forward to seeing more scientific evidence and researches on the relationship between the brain and personality. Good blog, Gavin. Thank you for sharing!

I have to say that the right and left brain is a fascinating topic. When I was a kid, I heard people say that people who write with their left hand are more intelligent than those who write with their right. There were even some unbelievable parents who forced their children to write with their left hand. Anyway, I support your point of view. Although part of the population believes that the left and right brain control personality thinking and that a good left brain does not mean a good thinking ability, the same goes for the right brain.

Hi, Gavin. I agree with you that both parts of the brain have different ways of analyzing problems, and what really solves problems is cooperation. When logic is received by the left side of the brain, the right side needs to receive pictures, music and other information to help the left side of the brain solve problems. So it’s not that the left brain can only be logical and the right brain can only be creative.
